Why this website?
If you google “noel gallagher guitars” you’ll find plenty of sites that haven’t been updated in years, conflicting information and know-it-alls who get their facts wrong*. And bedroom guitar shredders who endlessly bash one of the most successful songwriters ever.
This website has the goal of becoming the most accurate resource for verified information about the guitars that Noel Gallagher has played through the years. Hopefully…!
* Unfortunately, you’ll also find other websites run by sc*mbags who blatantly stole most of the info from here without giving any credit. Don’t be one of those losers: show some respect and give credit where it’s due!
Special thanks to…
… the live4ever forum and its users: still the best source for Gallagher-related info & discussion
… David and his brilliant website Oasis Recording Info
… oasisunited and the the fabulous Oasis Timeline
… the crucial Oasis Live website
… the essential scyhodotcom
… legendary Oasis fan Sandra for her tour updates and pictures
… Larry Page and Sergey Brin for inventing Google
… Mr. NG & Ignition Management for not suing me!

What about acoustic guitars?
As you may have noticed, this website lists electric guitars only – for the time being.
I’m not really an expert of acoustics but adding an acoustic guitars section is a future project.
I always do my best to credit the original photographers.
As a semi-pro photographer myself, I know how frustrating it is to see your work used without credit – it happens far too often, and it’s disheartening to say the least. That’s why many of the images on the site still have the Getty or Alamy watermarks: while not ideal visually, it’s the most reliable way to ensure the original photographers are credited.
In most cases, the author’s name is embedded in the image description. Depending on your device, especially on mobile, it might not always show when you enlarge the photo – but the credit is there.
Some images, however, have been on my hard drive for years, and I no longer know the source or photographer. I’ve tried using reverse image search, but while it occasionally helps, it often doesn’t lead anywhere.
If you are the author, if you know the author or if you want me to remove an image, please contact me.
Please read also the “Rights, names, logos etc” section below: I’m not making money from your work.
The best way to support an artist is by purchasing a print, a book, or anything directly from their shop. I wouldn’t want to leave anyone out, but these are truly are the cornerstones of Oasis-related imagery – the website simply wouldn’t exist without their decades of incredible work:

This website is the result of years of dedicated research: digging through videos, forums, interviews, magazines, books, photos, and more.
Don’t underestimate the time (and money) it took to put all of this together.
All I ask is that if you use or reference any of the content elsewhere, you credit the site and include a proper link. There is a disclaimer in every page of the site: PLEASE show some respect for the hard work. It’s not that difficult!
Rights, names, logos etc
I can’t stress enough, this website is not affiliated with Noel Gallagher, Oasis, Ignition, Sour Mash, Big Brother Recordings, Fender, Gibson, Rickenbacker, etc.
All brands, logos, images and trademarks are properties of their respective owners and are used here for descriptive purposes only. In other words: it is basically free publicity.
I don’t sell anything and I don’t make a single cent from this site – unlike some others out there that not only lift information from here but are also cluttered with ads.
You won’t find any ads here. In fact, I spend over €100 a year out of my own pocket just to keep the site running and maintained through hosting and WordPress management.
Who am I?
In a nutshell: I’m a guitar geek with a painstaking attention to detail who spends time zooming in on obscure VHS rips from the ’90s instead of doing my work.
I vividly remember the first time I fell in love with Oasis: predictably, it was Wonderwall – and I was sitting in the car, in the passenger seat, on a winter evening after school.
Oasis (and Noel Gallagher) have been the soundtrack to my life since then.
I was fascinated by the whole singer-songwriter-guitarist thing: I slowly became a guitar geek – and at the time I had never picked up an electric guitar in my life!
Then I bought my first electric: a cheap, cherry red semi-hollow of course. And it all went downhill from that point onwards…
And so now I spend too much of my free time looking at pictures of guitar knobs.
Yeah, it is that bad.
