Used in... - 1996-1999 - used during the recording sessions of the album Be Here Now and specifically to record the song The Girl in the Dirty Shirt - maybe used to record demos for the Standing on the Shoulder of Giants album
Details This is - so far - the only ES-335 ever noted to have been in Noel's possession. He usually plays ES-345 and ES-355. This one is interesting because it is a late '60s one with a Maestro vibrato device. In August 1999, this ES-335 was sold (with some other guitars) to a London Guitar shop. It is stated that it was used to record the song The Girl in the Dirty Shirt.1 The original sale ad mentioned also "various studio recordings", so maybe it was also played during the demo sessions for Standing on the Shoulder of Giants between late 1998 and early 1999. It is unlikely that it was ever used to record tracks off (What's the Story) Morning Glory.
