Used in... - 1997 - never played live - featured in the video of D'You Know What I Mean
Details According to the serial number, this Flying V Reissue was made at the Gibson factory in Nashville on 2 May 1997: it was brand new when the D'You Know What I Mean? video was filmed, on the 24th of June of the same year, at London's Beckton Gas Works. In spite of its only one appearance (it has never been played live), it has become an iconic NG guitar during the years. In August 1999, the Flying V was sold (with some other guitars) to a London Guitar shop. From 2000 until 2011 it was owned by guitar player and collector Keith Smart.1 It is now in possession of a well-known Oasis collector in USA.
