Used in... - used during the recording sessions of the album Standing on the Shoulder of Giants
Details
The Les Paul Standard, finished in a deep shade of Wine Red, was built in late 1982 at Gibson's factory in Nashville.
Noel most likely bought it sometime between late 1998 and early 1999. It was used during the Standing on the Shoulder of Giants sessions, beginning with the band's stay at Château de La Colle Noire in Southern France in May 1999.
However, the guitar proved too heavy for Noel to use on stage, and he eventually decided to part ways with it.
It was purchased by a recording technician who had been hired by Oasis to handle technical duties during the sessions at Colle Noire. He collected the guitar later - possibly in August 1999 - at Olympic Studios, where Noel was present and signed the pickguard for him.1
The technician held on to the guitar until 2023, when it was put up for auction by Bonhams and sold for around £28k.

In a 2002 interview, when asked about the gear used during the Standing on the Shoulder of Giants sessions, Noel mentioned a Wine Red Les Paul - but specifically referred to it as a "Deluxe" model:2
"I had just bought this really cool, wine-red '80s Les Paul Deluxe. But it wasn't so much the guitars that changed the sound of the album -- it was the amps. For example, I'd never used a Fender amp on any of my records. It was always Marshalls, Marshalls, and more Marshalls."
Did he actually own a Wine Red "Deluxe" as well? I don't think so. Most likely, Noel was referring to this "Standard" in the interview and just mixed up the model names - possibly confusing it with the Cherry Sunburst Les Paul Deluxe, which was also used at Colle Noire during the sessions.
