Details

This might be Noel's first Jazzmaster: maybe it was bought during the US tour in May & June 2015. The color looks like a metallic shade of grey but it actually is Shoreline Gold, which is more like a grey with a golden hue.

It was later seen in a post on Noel's social media where it was announced that a new album was in the works (6 October 2016).1

The guitar was actually used to record guitar parts for the album that would become Who Built the Moon?, as shown in a picture posted by producer David Holmes in early 2017: Johnny Marr is seen playing it, so we can speculate that the guitar was used on the track If Love Is the Law.

By the way, Nashguitars is a small company from Olympia, WA that builds artificially aged/relic'd guitars inspired by Fender's traditional designs (Strats, Teles, etc). They are built to order and can be heavily customized.2

JM63s feature an increased neck angle for better sustain and stability,3 a roller bridge for tuning consistency, a buzz-stop tailpiece4 and specially designed Lollar pickups.

Stickers

Like both its black and white sisters, it features a large black star sticker above the tremolo plate (already seen on other guitars in the past, e.g. the white Telecaster).

  3. It is not uncommon for vintage and modern Jazzmasters to need a neck shim to improve playability. ↩︎
  4. The buzz-stop is an ugly bracket that applies downward pressure to the strings and it purportedly removes buzz and rattle; its real utility is disputed. ↩︎
