Details A recently made Jazzmaster, probably a custom order to the Fender Custom Shop. It's a run of the mill USA Fender model that has been customized with a relic/aged finish. American Professional Jazzmasters do not have the infamous "rhythm circuit", which is typical of vintage models and reissues: as a consequence, they have a single switch in the top horn instead of the switch/thumbwheels combo. The original threaded bridge is one of the weak spots of Jazzmasters & Jaguars (it rattles and strings can fall out of the grooves during heavy playing): in the Am. Pro. the bridge has Mustang saddles to solve the problem. The pickups sound a bit hotter and less jangly than vintage Jazzmaster pickups.
