Noel has owned at least two original 1960s Sunburst Rivieras.

In August 1999, a 1967 model with a faded burst was sold to a guitar shop in London and then to a collector.
According to reports, this Riviera was used to record the song Magic Pie.1

Alongside the Riviera, the Firebird, the Flying V, the ES-335 Maestro and the 1962 Casino were also sold at that time.

In 2017, Noel was photographed with another similar Riviera that appears nearly identical in style - likely another 1967 model with a darker burst.2

The guitar was offered for sale: a reader who saw it in detail reported that its serial number suggests a production date between 1966 and 1969 — although its specifications align more closely with those from '66 or '67.3 This second Riviera was reportedly sold as well later that same year.
