Details

A new entry of the Council Skies tour, this red Les Paul is reminiscent of the famous "Lucy" Les Paul, which was gifted to George Harrison by Eric Clapton in 1968.

The features are similar to late '50s Les Pauls, while the aged finish looks like the typical work of Gibson's Murphy Lab.

So, my educated guess is that this Les Paul is a "Made 2 Measure"1 guitar, artificially aged by Murphy Lab, built to Noel's specs in the last couple of years.
By the way, it looks very similar in specs to this 2023 "Made 2 Measure" '57 Reissue, which in Sept. 2023 was for sale at Imperial Vintage Guitars for $7.5k...2
Thanks to a very smart guitar geek,3 it can be confirmed that this Les Paul is - as it was speculated - a one-off, Murphy Lab aged '57 reissue: it is finished in Sweet Cherry and it features a slim 1960-style neck profile, as per Noel's preference.4

During the summer 2024 gigs, the red Les Paul was not played. Instead, the black Nashguitars Jazzmaster was used for In the Heat of the Moment: this is a bit of a shame, as the growling humbucker sound of the Les Paul fit the song better.
The red LP was featured in a couple of photos taken by Justin Downing5 in Spring 2025 for the launch of new signature chukka boots by Novesta, designed in collaboration with Noel in support of Teenage Cancer Trust.

Noel was "in the studio noodling around" and "just getting ready for rehearsals".6 These were strong hints that the red Les Paul might make an appearance at the Oasis reunion gigs. But in the end, Noel brought two different Les Paul Standards: a Cherry Sunburst model and a brand-new one equipped with P90 pickups.
