Details Noel has played various Cherry Sunburst Les Pauls between 2000 and 2009. Most of them seem to be '59 reissues, with flamed top. They were used for almost everything during the 2000 and 2001 tours. In the later tours it became the guitar of choice for heavier songs like Cigarettes & Alcohol and Rock 'n' Roll Star. After Oasis' demise, these Les Pauls had never been played by Noel until 2019, when a Cherry Sunburst reappeared in very few dates. It is unknown if it is a new one or one from the early 2000s. One of these Les Pauls (serial 93094, Gibson Historic Collection - used in the studio and as live backup) was sold in 2005 to a London guitar shop. In 2019, it was sold again by a French dealer to a USA-based collector.1
