Details

The original Epiphone Casinos were made in Gibson's factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan, starting in 1961. Production was later moved overseas: Japan, Korea and then China.

In 2021, Epiphone announced a new, US-made version of the Casino: it features two dogear Gibson P-90 pickups, vintage braided wiring and wax potting to reduce feedback.1 It is made in Gibson's factory in Nashville - finish and retail price are a consequence of that!

The Casinos are fully hollow guitars, i.e. they do not have central blocks like 335/345/355: because of this, they are quite prone to feedback at moderate volume.
Nevertheless, Noel has been playing it live in Open The Door, See What You Find and The Mighty Quinn during the Council Skies tour.

Noel has described it as a "fuc*ing great guitar".2

Between January and February 2022 it had been used to record guitar parts for the Council Skies album: it was played on I'm Not Giving Up Tonight and Open The Door, See What You Find.

Johnny Marr played the lead guitar parts in Open The Door, See What You Find with it.
