Details

One of Noel's main guitars in the last decade. It's a vintage model from the late '60s.1

It was extensively played during the first NGHFB tour: it was used for Mucky Fingers, (I Wanna Live in a Dream in My) Record Machine, Soldier Boys and Jesus Freaks and (Stranded On) The Wrong Beach. On setlists it was labeled "345 (2)".

At the Frequency Festival in Wien (16 August 2012), this ES-345 was damaged in some sort of way:

"So, it would seem the last time we spoke I was getting ready for a festival in Vienna? It was good as I remember. [...] Spoiled only by the death of one of my guitars. Well, it might not be actually dead but it was seriously maimed. A sad day. Rest in pieces my friend, I loved you very much."2

At the following gigs, the V Festival in Chelmsford, the broken ES-345 was replaced with an ebony ES-355.3
Then, in early September, the damaged guitar (now repaired) reappeared and the ebony ES-355 went back into storage.

During the Chasing Yesterday tour it was played live in Dream On, Do the Damage and (Stranded On) The Wrong Beach. It was used again for Dream On in 2018 and then also for Everybody's on the Run in 2019. It was also played in Black Star Dancing for a few concerts in Summer 2019.

Gem played it for a few songs during the 2010 Teenage Cancer Trust and at the BBC acoustic special in December 2015 - his first official appearance as a High Flying Bird.
