It looks like Gibson and Epiphone may be preparing to release some Oasis-related or Oasis-inspired guitars in the coming months. Clues have been floating around for a while, especially after some interesting instruments were spotted at the fan-exclusive exhibition held at the gig venues.
These won’t be ultra-limited, ultra-expensive models like the recent Gibson Garage Les Paul with P-90s: they’re more likely to be regular production models, similar to the Noel Gallagher Riviera released in 2022 and still available today.
Keep reading for hints and speculation… though the photos above might already give you a pretty good idea of what’s on the way.
Could there be a better moment than the Oasis reunion to launch a new wave of related guitars? Probably not.
Some premium tickets for the Live ’25 tour included access to an exhibition showcasing props, instruments, and memorabilia from across the band’s history. On display were Noel’s Matsumoku Riviera, the ex-Marr Les Paul Conversion, and the original Union Jack Sheraton.
But there was also a Gibson / Epiphone section featuring a few new guitars. Huge thanks to the fans and readers who shared their photos — credits go to Mario, Jack, and Starman12.

We see the three well-known Noel signature models – the J-150 acoustic (released in 2021), the ES-355 with Bigsby, and the Wine Red Riviera (both released in 2022) – along with one of the ‘unofficial’ Union Jack replicas from 2014.
Then there are four other new guitars: the black Les Paul, two Sheratons, and another Riviera. Let’s start with the big one: a reproduction of the guitar that drew the most attention over the summer.
GIBSON USA “NOEL GALLAGHER” LES PAUL (Ebony)
Noel’s black Les Paul Standard with P-90 pickups has been everywhere on guitar websites in recent months. Its detailed page has been the most viewed on this site since it was first published the day after the first Cardiff gig.
A 25-piece limited edition, Murphy-Lab-aged replica was sold exclusively at the Gibson Garage in London this past August. Some reports put the price at around £17k, though no official confirmation was given. Unsurprisingly, within no time a few of them appeared online for three times that price. Scalpers, eh? Definitely not a guitar for us mere mortals with regular-sized wallets.
Fortunately, Gibson seems to have thought the concept was too good to limit to just 25 exclusive pieces. The black LP with P-90s displayed at the exhibition is not a Custom Shop guitar: it’s a regular Gibson USA model. The headstock decal and the bridge instantly give it away.

The worldwide famous Trogly’s Guitar Show on YouTube agrees with me on this one: it is a standard production model. By the way, thanks to Trogly for giving the website a shout-out in his video!
It is now almost certain that the black Les Paul will be released before the end of the year, possibly in time for Christmas. As a regular Gibson USA model, it will be priced far lower than the Gibson Garage replicas. Based on current Les Paul Standard prices and special editions, I’d estimate it to fall somewhere between €2.5k and €3k.
It could be a limited edition, or it might remain part of the regular lineup, similar to the Noel Gallagher Riviera. Time will tell.
EPIPHONE “BONEHEAD” RIVIERA (Antique Sunburst)
The other Riviera on display has a finish that mimics Antique Sunburst.
It shares all the distinctive features of an early 1980s Matsumoku Riviera: the white pickguard and truss-rod cover, the volute on the back of the neck, Epiphone-branded machine heads, and black witch-hat knobs. Essentially, it’s a Noel Gallagher signature Riviera – just in Sunburst rather than Wine Red.
Let’s go ahead and call it the “Bonehead” Riviera!

This model makes a lot of sense: it’s simply a color variant of an existing model, so there are no extra production costs for Epiphone. Coupled with the Bonehead connection, it could be a highly collectible piece for Oasis fans, or just a solid addition to the lineup.
The Noel signature Riviera was praised even by non-Oasis fans: it is a phenomenal guitar for the price. Speaking of which, the Bonehead Riviera would likely be priced around €900.
EPIPHONE SHERATON (Cherry Red & Vintage Sunburst)
The two Sheratons on display appear to be new or updated models, both featuring vintage-correct details like the headstock and pickguard shapes.
The Sunburst model has a Frequensator tailpiece, though it isn’t the excellent 2023 version highlighted in this article. The Cherry Red model has a trapeze tailpiece and seems to be inspired by Noel’s red Sheraton, which Gem Archer has played since 2005. Gem even had a replica made for the 2025 tour: could this be from that same batch?
If these are released, I wouldn’t expect any official association with Oasis or Gem. Likely, they’ll be marketed as higher-end Epiphones, i.e. probably around €1250 if they’re made in China. Actually, there’s a chance they’re from the USA Collection like Noel’s Casinos (#1, #2 and #3): in this case, the Sheratons would be priced somewhere between €2.5k and €3k.
We’ll find out in the coming weeks if this speculation is correct: the hints so far are certainly promising.
Also, if anyone from Epiphone or Gibson is reading this (I know you are – and I hope you understand that basically this website is one big ad for your products!), please consider reissuing a Union Jack Sheraton next year – with the correct flag pattern this time!
The 30th anniversary of the Maine Road gigs is approaching: our wallets are ready and waiting…

yes, they are coming
Gem has been using a red Epiphone Sheraton live that has the made in china body shape (chubby ears and waist), the same as in the pictures. The finish on that one is clearly new poly.
The Bonehead Riviera in this pictures also has the made in china Epiphone body shape.
The Gibson Les Paul has the standard LP body shape, not the Custom Shop/M2M/Murphy lab that’s more accurate to 50s Les Pauls, the horn is shorter, less wait and rounder curves. This is the one that was announced recently, different from the Custom Shop 25-pieces limited release
The only one that I don’t know about is the sunburst Sheraton, since I haven’t seen that one used live. The body shape is more like a 1964 ES-335 or a Terada (MIJ) 335. A couple years ago Gibson made more accurate 64′ 335 molds, so this could be a USA made one. If it’s a Chinese Epiphone with that body shape I will buy it no doubt.
Also, the Epiphone ES-345 “1955” Marty McFly signature that’s going to be announced has a new body shape, looking more similar to late 50’s Gibsons. The 2025 Epiphones IBCG LPs also have a better body shape, similar to the USA made ones (not the custom shop ones tho).

edit: saw a retail picture of the McFly 345, and the shape is the same old Chinese epiphone 335 shape…
