Details

Johnny Marr had been experimenting with vintage Jaguars to make them more performance-ready instruments for a while before being asked by Fender to produce his signature guitar, based on a Jaguar.

Johnny played prototypes for three years before finalizing the definitive specs.
The body is a copy of Johnny's 1963 Jaguar, while the neck is based on a 1965 model and is a bit thicker. The bridge is basically a Jag/Jazzmaster bridge with Mustang saddles, to stop the strings from slipping out and/or buzzing. The tremolo has a nylon insert at the vibrato arm collar what makes the arm stay put.

Pickups are custom-wound Bare Knuckle single-coil, based on the pickups from a 1962 Jaguar. The vintage Jaguar three switches were replaced with a four-way selector: the first three positions are standard (bridge pickup, both in parallel, and neck pickup), but the fourth one puts the pickups in series where they act as one big humbucker, giving the Jaguar a unique darker sound.1

The high-pass switch was moved to the upper horn and a second high-pass switch was added beside it: this second one is only active in the fourth position - i.e. when the pickups are in series - and gives a brighter sound.

The name of the dark orange finish, Metallic K.O., is probably an homage to the Stooges live album of the same name.

The Jaguar might be a gift from Johnny Marr himself or from Fender.

Noel is seen playing the guitar in a short clip filmed during the recording sessions for Not Over Yet - his collaboration with house duo Camelphat.

The orange Marr Jaguar can also be seen on a floor rack inside Noel's studio - just next to the Epiphone USA Casino: since the picture was taken in December 2021, it can be speculated that the Jaguar was used during the recording sessions for the album Council Skies.
