Details

Noel's green Telecaster used during the Chasing Yesterday tour is probably a Custom Shop model, with vintage-correct truss rod action at the neck heel.

The color, a light green with grey-ish hues, should be called Mystic Surf Green: it looks great with a light, maple neck.

It was played for two songs: In the Heat of the Moment and Digsy's Dinner.
Towards the end of the tour, in September 2016, it was replaced with a sunburst Nash TMaster.

Maybe it was used during the Chasing Yesterday recording sessions. In a photo taken by Brian Cannon in 2014, Noel is playing a Telecaster that seems to be this one. But since the picture is in black and white, it's impossible to say for sure.

It was also played by Gem Archer during NGHFB's gigs in 2017 and 2018; he used it for AKA... What a Life!, In The Heat of the Moment and The Mexican.

Noel owns at least another Fender Custom Shop Telecaster, the Firemist Silver that also featured on the Council Skies album cover.

He has been a frequent user of Telecasters since the late '90s: other Teles include a '60s Sunburst Custom, a blonde vintage model and the famous pink Paisley Tele made famous by the live recording Familiar to Millions.

    Hi Bobby,

it is the same guitar. This page hasn’t been updated in a long time – but it will be soon.

It looked like a Custom Shop model, but further investigation revealed it is a vintage one from 1970.
